Revital is an experienced researcher and entrepreneur, in the field of optics and medical devices.
As co-founder and Vice President or R&D at Ornim Inc., Revital has led interdisciplinary research and development teams from first prototypes into commercial products. 

Prior to founding OrNim Inc., Revital was a researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science and has held a senior position in a startup company in the field of fiber optics communication. Revital received her Ph.D. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2001. Dr. Shechter is an inventor of several patent pending applications in the field of optics and non-invasive monitoring, and an author of more than 20 peer reviewed papers and conference proceedings in the field of optics and displays.
